Hearts on Stage: Emozioni in Scena a Berlino

Dal 17 al 21 marzo, Berlino ha fatto da cornice a un’esperienza intensa e formativa: il workshop del progetto Erasmus+ Hearts on Stage, dedicato all’arte terapia come strumento di espressione e consapevolezza. Un incontro internazionale che ha visto la collaborazione attiva, insieme a noi di Parole Controvento, di Media Vision Theatre, Sofinatass e Kultur & Art. Tutte queste realtà sono unite da una visione comune, operano nel segno della cultura come strumento di dialogo, inclusione e cambiamento sociale.

In un clima creativo ci siamo trovati insieme ad artisti, operatori e giovani provenienti da diversi Paesi per conoscere, condividere e concretizzare il metodo di arte terapia sviluppato da Media Vision Theatre.

Sono stati proprio gli esperti di Media Vision Theatre a guidarci in questi cinque giorni alla scoperta di questo approccio teatrale.

Media Vision Theatre è uno spazio artistico e terapeutico nato in Ucraina e oggi attivo anche in Europa, che unisce il linguaggio teatrale alla produzione video. Fondata sul lavoro del precedente progetto ART Plexus, la compagnia accompagna militari, rifugiati, donne, bambini e vittime di violenza in un percorso di drammaturgia e performance, catturando ogni momento in un video personale destinato all’introspezione. Grazie a questo doppio formato, spettacolo dal vivo e report filmato, i partecipanti possono rivivere le proprie emozioni in uno spazio protetto, trasformando il trauma in un’occasione di consapevolezza e di rinascita interiore.

Durante il workshop di Berlino abbiamo compreso passo dopo passo il metodo già sperimentato di Media Vision Theatre.

Discutendo punti di forza, criticità e possibili adattamenti, siamo arrivati a definire un toolkit: uno strumento pratico che raccoglie e sistematizza gli elementi fondamentali del metodo, con l’obiettivo di renderlo accessibile e replicabile. Un punto di partenza per chiunque voglia utilizzare il teatro come spazio di ascolto, cura e trasformazione.

Tra un laboratorio e l’altro abbiamo avuto la possibilità di condividere storie, culture ed esperienze. Non sono infatti mancati momenti di convivialità, dalle passeggiate alla scoperta della città agli incontri informali, che hanno rafforzato lo spirito di gruppo e lo scambio tra realtà diverse.

Sulla scia di quanto appreso durante questo intenso workshop, il percorso di “Hearts on Stage” prosegue. In Parole Controvento abbiamo deciso di cogliere la sfida e realizzare una messa in scena applicando la tecnica della teatro terapia. Stiamo dando forma a nuovi progetti attraverso la collaborazione di artisti e specialisti.

Hearts on Stage: Emotions on Stage in Berlin

From 17 to 21 March, Berlin was the setting for an intense and educational experience: the workshop of the Erasmus+ project Hearts on Stage, dedicated to art therapy as a tool for expression and awareness. An international meeting that saw the active collaboration, together with us at Parole Controvento, of Media Vision Theatre, Sofinatass and Kultur & Art. All these realities are united by a common vision, operating under the banner of culture as a tool for dialogue, inclusion and social change.

In a creative atmosphere, we got together with artists, practitioners and young people from different countries to get to know, share and realise the art therapy method developed by Media Vision Theatre.

It was the experts from Media Vision Theatre who guided us during these five days to discover this new theatrical approach.

Media Vision Theatre is an artistic and therapeutic space born in Ukraine and now also active in Europe, which combines the language of theatre with video production. Based on the work of the previous ART project Plexus, the company accompanies soldiers, refugees, women, children and victims of violence on a path of drama and performance, capturing each moment in a personal video intended for introspection. Thanks to this dual format, live performance and filmed report, participants can relive their emotions in a protected space, turning trauma into an opportunity for awareness and inner rebirth.

During the Berlin workshop, we understood Media Vision Theatre’s tried and tested method step by step.

By discussing strengths, weaknesses and possible adaptations, we arrived at defining a toolkit: a practical instrument that collects and systematises the fundamental elements of the method, with the aim of making it accessible and replicable. A starting point for anyone who wants to use theatre as a space for listening, healing and transformation.

Between one workshop and the next, we had the opportunity to share stories, cultures and experiences. There was no lack of moments of conviviality, from walks to discover the city to informal meetings, which strengthened the group spirit and the exchange between different realities.

In the wake of what was learnt during this intense workshop, the path of “Hearts on Stage” continues. At Parole Controvento, we have embraced the challenge and decided to stage a performance using dramatherapy techniques. We are shaping new projects through the collaboration of artists and specialists.
